Wireless Connections , maxonline or not?

Post by Bonbon » Wed, 21 Jun 2006 4:20 am

Flatmate is moving out, now I have no one to rely on all these connections stuff...

1. can't seem to find a so called *package* that allows you to do both Starhub digital TV and Wireless

2. with wireless, not sure it's better to buy my own router and modem and pay ? if so how much?

or, just get maxonline that is like $56 a month for 24 months contract, which gives you the modem and router....

:???: tips?

The digital wireless an internet connection can be got under the same contract from starhub.

Market prices of an wireless set cost around 175sgd++ where you can bargain more @simlim square or funan it mall.

Wouldn't advise anybody to get an 24months contract for maxonline 4k. As the disconnection fee is around 300sgd, which is not worth it incase of the contract is not completed.

If you are sharing the connection between your mates then choose the maxonline 6.5k speed where you can get an HP pda phone. :D

If the flatmate already has a connection set up, why not just take over it?
