Gmail internal server error problem!

Been having problems logging on to gmail tonight, saw quite a few complaints from all over the world under google's gmail problem solving thread...

Has anyone else encountered the same problem?

hope this will get fixed soon!

yap that's all I've been doing, drinking, watching footie, sleeping at an insane hour.

I generally receive most emails on my gmail, but recently there was an email from gmail saying someone in Japan tried to log in and gmail blocked it...
