I agree. I am sure there are ppl who does not meet that requirement but still went and got through. It very much depends on how you potray yourself during the interview. Though I'm not so sure if it is like this cos usually interviews are like tat for all other jobs 8-)

This has been discussed before and it is nonsense, if you believe that then you really are living in 'cloud cuckoo land'.

Flight attendant recruitment event

Post by jgorgona » Fri, 23 Jun 2006 8:22 am

They will not let you in if you are too tall and I was not too tall, they are not hiring, they are probably just required to hire for a hub, be careful!

I never heard anyone asking about the maximum height. I think you cant be too tall. You are going to look scary in the airplane. And one more thing, i came across about maximum height for cabin crew of other airline on some other websites. Just try to search in Yahoo!.

What is your height?
180cm is acceptable.

:D

And wow, SIA been having about 3 recruitments in just 6 months! Looks like SIA is searching the best people for the airline.

I think any airline will consider some applicants too tall and SIA is no exception. I have read this elsewhere in regard to SIA but I don't remember where. ( Will supply the link if I am able to find it). Remember if you are too tall you would constantly be bumping your head against the aircraft ceiling.

Hi there,
If you really want to a Flight Steward, just go ahead and try. At least, you have the feel of how the recruitment is like. There will be a crowd that day so if you can, do make it a point to be there slightly earlier. Wish you good luck guys.

Cheers
