Visa with no degree? IT job for Bank?

Post by Patrick777 » Tue, 13 Jun 2006 6:20 pm

Hi,

I will hopefully be coming to Singapore, my only worry is I don't have a degree? I have skills in IT I'm not sure if they class them as specialist and also 10 years of experince I'm just worried will that be enough? My employer is a large bank so I'm hoping that will carry it through but has anyone had any issues in the past? My salary should be above the 7k limit I'm not sure if that helps?

Any help of previous experinces would help?

Cheers

Patrick

Should be no problem whatsoever with the bank sponsoring ya EP.
Goatboy will always cherish his former goatgirl.
But the world is full of fluffier ones.

Patrick777,
I don't have a degree and am in banking, have 15+ yrs experience, no problems getting EP at all. With your 10yrs I'm sure you'll be fine.
Most banks here know what the situation is with MOM and so wouldnt offer you a job if they didnt think you'd qualify for the EP.......hope the move goes well, good luck!

Cheers,
