Anybody have any experience living in these
condos? Went to Dover Parkview earlier today, it seems a bit old and dark... It's pretty nice though. Haven't been in The Heritage yet. We have concerns about transportation from these
condos to MRT and amenities. Should we be concerned? Cheers!

Heritage View is definitely spankier, newer, nicer pool and facilities. Dover Parkview offers a shuttle bus service (intervals around half an hr), to Holland Village as well as the MRT station during peak hours of the day. Not too sure if Heritage offers that as well.

I have just spent the last two years at Heritage and If I had a choice today of DOverpark or Heritage I would pick Dover.
Main Reasons,
1. It has shuttle service to MRT and Holland, (invaluable in my opinion)
2. You have a little balcony in most apartments in Dover
3. Facilities are just as good as Heritage
The rental prices have both increased for these apartments in the last few months, (DOver used to be much cheaper than Heritage) but both are now at similar levels, (about 2 to 2.3 for a 2 bed). Thi is because of a few reasons.
1. Opening of Rochester park (cant believe I move away when a pub opens across the road!!!)
2. The students coming in, this has decreased the number of apartments available therefore increasing the rent.
It is however very easy to catch a cab outside for both apartments, (except a Friday night)
One Negative on Dover is that the guards are extremely ANAL.
JUst my two cents Worth.
Happy apartment hunting. (DONt envy you it took me two months to finally find a place that I liked)

I went to both places for viewing the other day with my wife. They are pretty nice, with a lot of pros and cons like what you guys told me, but we finally ended up with The Anchorage on Alexandra road in front of Ikea. Transportation is a bit easier, a mini-mall (Anchor Point) is close by and it is closer to the city. Price wise it's about the same. Hopefully we are making the right decision. Thanks all!
