Hello All,
Can anyone please help me.
I have been trying for some days to get in touch with the Passengers Meeting Services at Changi Airport Terminal 1, but after several calls from my home in Perth WA, I have been unable to contact them.
I require thier services to meet my Wife when her plane arrives at Changi and esscort her from her plane, through Immigration and Customs to the Arrival Hall in Terminal 1, where I will be waiting to meet her.
It is necessary for her to be met at her disembaking gate as she has never travelled overseas before and we have only around 90 minutes to catch a connecting flight, so it is esential that she is shown where to go.
Could anyone supply or obtain for me the Meeting Services Website or Email address.
I would appreciate any information that you kind people can supply and thank you in anticipation.

Not sure what to suggest apart from checking you have the right numbers:
Main Number as per website Tel: (65) 6542 1122
Meeting Services -
Terminal 1 - Tel : (65) 6546 8168
Terminal 2 - Tel : (65) 6542 2848

Changi is busy but not huge and 90 minutes is ample time to make a connection. Tell your wife to ask for help if she needs it - there are information desks all over the place.

Sorry, am I missing something here? Why do you want your wife to go through Immigration and Customs if you have a connecting flight? There is no separation of incoming and departing passengers at Changi -- you can check in and go to the gate to meet her yourself. Depending on where your connecting flight is going, she can either check herself (and her bags) in all the way at the origin airport, or you can just do it at the transfer desk in Changi.
The only potential problem is if she cannot check her bags all the way, in which case she will indeed have to pass in and out of Immigration/Customs to collect them and check them in again.

Thanks for your input, the reason my wife needs to clear Immigration and Customs on her arrival, is she is arriving on JetStar Aisa, which do not trasnsfer luggage to another Airline (Budget Airline), hence the reason for my former post. Thank you all again, I tried to contact them again last night , but to no avail, however, I still have some time to secure their services, so no panic as yet.jpatokal wrote:Sorry, am I missing something here?
