Where can I find a weekend bazaar or fair to look for some used stuff? Tables, microwave, etc?

Any recomendations?

Garage sales section in the newspapers, otherwise you can look out for expats leaving Singapore, where they normally sell off most of the items.

Or... notice Board at Cold Storage - i've seen a lot of ads for garage sale and/or moving sale.

Supermarket and club notice boards are a good source of ads for second hand furniture and electrical items. The American school in Woodlands also puts together a list of things parents want to sell when they leave at the end of term. You could call the school for a copy - better be quick as the holidays are here. The Salvation Army has a big furniture depot in Upper Bukit Timah with lots of items for sale. They don't accept poor quality stuff so it's also worth a look. Cashconverters store also has lots of second hand electrical items.
