Post by happynut » Mon, 05 Jun 2006 10:35 am

hey all. i would like to set up a pushcart but i know nuts bout going through the legal procedures of it all.

could i just ask:
- how much is the pushcart rental?
- do i have to get a lease of some sort? whom do i ask for permission?
- does the lease entitle me to fly all around the island with my pushcart?
- if there is no powerpoint at the location me and my lil pushcart are at, do i have to rent a generator? how much will the rental of the generator be?

lovely lovely lovely if somebody out there can be kind enough to address my queries.
much thanks! (:

Pushcart rental in big shopping mall are usually priced at $3000/mth and above. Neigbourhood shopping mall's pushcarts are much cheaper at $1200/mth and above.

Usually a contract will be signed. And deposit maybe needed for some. U will have to rent from the management of the shopping mall or the contact person. Just ask for info from the Information Counter.

The contract only allows u to use a specific pushcart in that mall.

Usually powerpoints are provided by the shopping mall.

However, if u r referring to buying/renting your own pushcart and rent a place to sell, I would suggest u buy as 1 pushcart costs ard $7500. Then to rent a certain location to place your pushcart and sell, will depends on where. Licence to sell may sometimes be required to be obtained from NEA or Town Council or the shopping mall.

Yes. U need to obtain permission from the management and relevant authorities, if any.
