I went to him for consultation as I hv very bad dark circles and eyebags. But he claimed that mine are not eyebags.. just muscles and I just need few BOTOX shots. How long did it take for the swelling to subside?

He's pretty nice. Not sure whether I should do BOTOX ard my eye areas.. don wan the area to be "freezed" up. I did for my square jawline and the result was fantastic!

I went to another doc recommended by my friend, who goes there for Post-Natal treatments. It's a medical aesthetic clinic at the Amara. Dr Tan charged me $25 for first consultation and $600 for BOTOX injections. I can see result after 3 weeks, which he told me that my face will sharpen even more in months. Will be going back to see him in 2-3 weeks' time. very happy with my result.. face not so square anymore :D

Hi HKSN,
Do you know how long the results of botox for square jaw will last for? I've been curious and wanting to do it, but with pain involved, you have to be comtemplate when you would have to go through the procedure again. Even vaccinations seem scary to me. Did you feel any pain?

Dr Tan told me it's going to last 9-12 months, depends on individual. some can last longer. but definitely not permanent. 2nd round of injections will last much longer. Called Dr Tan today and was told that I can see more results in 2-3 weeks' time as that is usually the peak. Oh, there was no pain at all. Can't even feel or realised that Dr Tan has injected the toxin. My jawline is very broad and masculine due to the muscles ard the area, esp the left side of my face as I tend to chew on my left side. Dr Tan told me no chewing of gums anymore.. got to kick that habit off.
