Singapore Expats

Does anyone have any recommendations as to where might be a nice relaxing, peaceful place to spend 4 to 5 days over the Christmas period, not too far from Singapore? Having only recently moved to this part of the world, we are not so familiar with where's good and where's not!

In "winter" it's the rainy season around here. If you don't want to go too far I would suggest the western part of Thailand.
