Yogya butuh dokter, cairan infus, jarum & benang untuk menjahit luka,
perban, sofratul untuk rumah sakit darurat dan pertolongan keliling di sepanjang jalanpantai selatan.

Yogya earthquake survivors will need doctors, infus liquid, needles and thread to sew wounds, bandages, etc. for emergency hospitals and mobile clinic along the south beach of Yogya.

Korban meninggal 1739 orang, luka-luka 700 orang.

The death toll has reached 1739 lives, and the wounded have been 700 people, by the time this message was written.

SOS for the earthquake survivors in Yogyakarta, Klaten, Solo


Jaringan Relawan Kemanusiaan (JRK), memohon kepada Ibu/Bapak dan
Saudara-saudari, para relawan dan dermawan sekalian, untuk membantu
para korban gempa yang terjadi di Jogya, Klaten dan Solo. Gempa berkekuatan 5,9 skala richter, mengakibatkan jatuhnya puluhan korban jiwa dan korban luka-luka.

Humanitarian Voluntary Network requests you to help the earthquake victims in Yogyakarta, Klaten and Solo.
The earthquake with Richter scale of 5.9 had taken lives of thousands of people and had wounded many as well.

Adapun bantuan yang kami butuhkan untuk segera dapat kami kirimkan ke lokasi bencana adalah:
The contribution that we need and can be sent directly to the locations are:

1 Bahan-bahan makanan, berupa: beras, jagung, mie
instant dll., makanan tambahan (:susu bayi, kacang hijau,pangan untuk bayi dan ibu hamil), pangan pelengkap (:gula, garam, minyak goreng, teh, biskuit, kopi dll).

Food such as: rice, corn, instant noodles, etc. supplementary food such as baby milk, green beans, food for babies and pregnant mothers, complementary food stuff such as: sugar, salt, cooking oil, tea, biscuits, coffee, etc.

2 Kelengkapan penunjang kesehatan berupa: selimut,
sarung, kelambu, pakaian bersih layak pakai, obat-obatan dan vitamin,
perlengkapan difabel, perlengkapan untuk kebutuhan spesifik perempuan
(pembalut), kantong darah / donor), plastik sampah.

Medical supplies and the complementary stuff such as: blankets, sarong, mosquito net, clean clothes, medicine and vitamins, tampons, blood bags, trash plastic bags, etc.

3 Kelengkapan penunjang pendidikan berupa alat tulis
dan perlengkapan sekolah.

Education supplies: stationery and school supplies.

4 Kelengkapan penunjang rumah tangga berupa
perlengkapan makan dan masak (kompor, panci, penggorengan, dll).

Household supplies to eat and to cook such as stove, pan, etc.

5 Kelengkapan untuk air dan sanitasi, berupa
penyediaan air bersih, perlengkapan mandi dan cuci (:sabun, pasta gigi, sikat gigi, handuk,ember,gayung dll).

Sanitation supplies and clean water supplies: clean water, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, towels, buckets, etc.

6 Kelengkapan penunjang Ibadah berupa : perlengkapan
sholat.

Praying supplies for sholat for Muslims, etc.

7 Kelengkapan kebutuhan papan berupa perlengkapan
dan material untuk pembangunan rumah/shelter, alas tidur, terpal , tenda, lampu badai.

Construction materials to build houses/shelters: sleeping mattress, tent, lamps for storm, flashlights, etc.

Sorry Chuchu for 'hijacking' this thread...

this is for Serendipity: I do know of some people running some aid relief programme for the recent tragedy. However, since the OP has listed some numbers here, it'd be better to contact the relevant person/s.

I apologise for not replying through the cell text message as my cell unit is encountering a little bit if technical disruption.

Thise affected are in my prayers and any aid through the ones listed in this thread by Chuchu or others is greatly appreciated.

Know any NGO or NPO here in Singapore who would jump in in this sort of thing to volunteer labour or stuff?
I was thinking maybe they can be approached to provide the transport for the stuff we collect from the Indonesian society etc. from here to there.
