Chaos or fate?

When something happens and you feel sure it is 'meant to be' should it be attributed to fate/destiny or to chaos such as 'the butterfly effect'? Is it possible to believe in both?

I'd say both but it depends on case-to-case scenario, I suppose... again

You surely cannot believe in 'fate' or 'destiny' - wouldn't this mean your whole life is pre-determined?

Perhaps some aspects are pre-determined, but yes I do believe you have a certain level of control about decisions you make and the course your life will follow.

I believe that such things as fate/destiny exist but it doesn't mean that I believe in it...

Had never even once thought that my whole life is pre-determined by any factors/choices etc...

but fate has it that I'm of a certain gender and I can't change certain things about myself... hmm, then again... I forgot, there's always alternatives on the "dark" side... :P

I'm "destined" to be a menace... yes that I am :twisted: at least... that's what I believe...

Know what I mean? :P
