Hey,
I am in Singapore for a couple of months and not having brought sneakers I kind of desperately need some. Problem: I'm a size 47 (eur) / 12 1/2 (us) / 12 (uk). Any tips where I can find shoes that size in Singapore?
Thanks in advance...

My son is a size 13. He has found larger sizes in runners at Nike at Suntec and several of the Royal Sporting House stores in the city area or Suntec. We have found it is better to tell the shop assistant straight away that you are looking for larger sized shoes because what you like and what they have in your size will definitely be different! Good luck!

Queensway Shopping Centre (near IKEA in Alexandra) has Singapore's biggest selection of athletic shoes, including some very large ones.

I have seen a few places with size 13 but I can't find anywhere with size 14. If anybody knows of anywhere please let me know. Mostly looking for x-trainers.

There's a good sports store on the second floor of Paragon Shopping Center on Orchard Rd. It sells a wide selection of quality running shoes and has a wide range of sizes including size 12 and up. Worth a try.

Impossible to find size 14, and 13 is only occassionally available in sports shoes. Haven't been able to find any shop that makes custom made shoes, either. There used to be one at Raffles Shopping Arcade but it closed down a few years ago, at the same time I moved here
Tried some shops at Lucky Plaza but the shoes never got made, they required a minimum order of 10 pairs for big sizes.
I just stock up on shoes when I go to Europe. I guess you could also stock up in US or AUS if that's where you happen to go to.

Found it hard to find what I wanted in Australia (Sydney) also - they had size 14 but only in limited products and pay too much for them.
Going to New York next month so will pick up 5 or 6 pairs there. Great place you can get cheap (USD$20 & up) from Century 21 in Lower Manhattan.
