60 signs you've been in Singapore too long, especially if you come from a
Western country :
1. You know that "cum" means something completely different from what you
originally thought.
59. You know why this list needs the following disclaimer:
"This list is intended only as an amusing, light-hearted, and exaggerated
look at life in Singapore and is not meant to be taken seriously. There is
no intention on the part of the author of this list to make any untrue,

nor to make any statement intended to cause offense. If any such offense has

any event, the author's NOT WORTH SUING, so don't trouble yourself."
60. You understand everything on this list!!

Amazingly I have found an acronym that is NOT used in Singapore:
"GFC" is used by the Aussie Press to refer to the Great Financial Crisis... I was a bit thrown when a friend used it in a conversation with me!
I honestly thought you were going to say GFC as in Geelong Football Club. Can't say I'm a supporter, but that's what came to mind!

64. You ALWAYS leave your drink on a coaster else a waiter will ensure that it is (not quite sure which law is being broken here, but it feels like there should be one!)

This is so true. Kind of hard to find lingerie for above C-cup.

Hilarious thread!
33."You wear winter clothes indoors and summer clothes outdoors" --> So true!
Here are mine:
- When you start calling everyone uncle or auntie.
- When you get used to people correcting your correct pronunciations with mispronunciations:
*gets into a taxi*
"Uncle, EEkehah (IKEA) please"
"You mean Ee-kia huh?"
- You moan and whine for 2 days when they raise the bus/train fare by 2 cents even though you pay the equivalent of S$5-6 a ride back home. How very dare they!
- You know that the appropriate footwear for rainy days are flip flops and not boots. In fact, you start living solely in flip flops or sandals and believe that with the right pair, you can pull it off as smart casual.
