I have never seen it here. Why don't you try calling Kenny Grocer or Ultra Grocer? They are provisioners and are used to chasing down all kinds of strange requests. Just to add a little salt to the wounds: one of my husbands favorite things in the whole wide world is strawberry rhubarb pie. When I return to the US in a few weeks I can make it from homegrown strawberries, rhubarb, even he whipped cream is frm local cows. Yeah! Another reason to be glad to go home...

I'm impressed you found rhubarb! I'm anxious to hear what happens. Sometimes fruits and vegetables are a very different variety than what we're used to at home which doesn't always translate :-|

Let us know how it turns out.

It cooked up pretty well, the taste and colour were a bit different but definately not bad. Something for special occasions though I think at $13 per kilo !! :P
