http://www.google.com/trends
For example, "expat" is searched for most in Hong Kong with Singapore coming 2nd
"Diana" was most searched by people in Lisbon
Birmingham comes top for "porn"
Have you found anything interesting/surprising?

All ten are US when you look up "gun" although with "guns" Buenos Aires sneaks in at number 1, I can't think why though

I think the Europeans will find anything non-MS just fine
Had bumped into trends sometime back. Some sites actually tweak their meta tags using such info to get more hits
