If you havent seen Coldplay live then go. Absolutely awesome. I only managed to get seating as they were the last tickets available. Standing would be much better.

I think they should insist that the Singaporeans drink 3 shots of tequila each before going in to make sure its lively.

I do think its a good venue though. Fort canning would have been much better however.

The stadium is quite huge. Where you want to sit depends on how much you're into the band. Some bands don't play as good as they sound on the record. I was at the Dream Theater concert and bought the VIP pass since i am a huge fan. They also had tech problems with the audio back then, but the band's perfomance was so brilliant, the audio troubles didn't matter at all. It was worth the pricey ticket!

I was also at the OASIS concert. not a hardcore fan, so i bought a cheaper ticket for a seat in the stands. personally, i thought the performance was awful, but it was nice to hear those old favorites like "Wonderwall", and "Champagne Supernova". I was happy i got the cheaper ticket. no regrets here. In the same way, if i do feel like watching Coldplay, i'd settle for a seat in the stands.
