My oldest just left, off to the prom. How can this all be happening so fast. Yesterday she was wearing her pink tutu to bed and and watching Barney...

At least it's your eldest, but I do feel for you . . .
Maybe you can have Sapphire dress in a pink tutu in bed and watch Barney . . .

Mary,
Welcome to where I was around 7 years ago. Going to be a long night isn't it. You'll be fretting all evening until she puts her foot aross the threshold. Been there, done that.
Just think Vaucluse has all that to look forward to!
You have my sympathy this evening.

My Wife and my Daughter both went to Convent Schools. Always remember, where there is a will there is a way. Remember? You were once that age as was Mary and even me. And each one of us always thought we were pulling something (called wool I believe) over our parents eyes.
As I said ........you are going to need it especially if she takes after you!

It's very quiet in here...
Maybe everyone has crashed the prom?
Mary don't be sad or anxious, it should be a happy time. If she was at home in a tutu watching Barney you could be upset.

He can have the window seat.

Let's just hope he doesn't turn up in the UK, although I expect he has gone off of Englishmen by now.
