The next President of the USA?

Post by Quasimodo » Thu, 11 May 2006 11:40 am

Bush puts forward little brother for presidency
Thursday May 11 07:19 AEST
President George W. Bush said Wednesday that his younger brother Jeb would make a "great president" setting off speculation that a third member of the political dynasty could try for the White House.

Jeb Bush, who is the governor of Florida, said however that while he appreciated the flattering comments, he has no intention now of running for the top job.
I can see it now: Jeb Bush and the Beverly Hillbillies for his staff;

Well, he's already rigged one election so maybe he is the right man for the job . . .

Oh god! Please No :o

Did anyone read today about the UK Attorney General Lord Goldsmith was asking the US to shurt down Guantanamo Bay, but they said no. (suprise suprise).

But I like the thought that the UK can actually disagree with the US sometimes rather than being a lap dog. Although I doubt we will ever get to the stage like the scene in Love Actually where Hugh Grant told the US President what was what. That got big cheers in the UK :D

On that note, let's just get ready for world dominance and possibly prepare for World War III, if that happens. Anything's possible with the Bushes in power.

The oblivion of Time

Post by GordonGekko » Tue, 16 May 2006 5:47 pm

Well, I guess Bush is an easy mark. Still, it could be worse. A lot worse. Remember how Clinton handled Somalia?

Hillary will be the next president, IMHO.

My opinion is that there WON'T be a WW with the Bushes in power. After the rowdy cowboy raids are done ONCE, then they realize unilateralism doesn't work in reality...

Didn't you hear that "someone" complaining that Iraq and Afghan news are overwhelming the improving economy? Who's own fault hehe
