1. Not too sure about queenstown myself, but east coast area has a lot of
condos. 2 bedroom should be available as of 1,200 S$ per month on average.
2. depends on the landlord, but in most cases 1 or 2 months rental.
3. It should be refundable, but do mention this specifically when you get into agreement on a condo, as there are quite a few nasty experiences of landlords or agents refusing to pay it back for different reasons.
4. depends on which agent, but in general they will ask for half a month rental comission to 1 month. Some will try 2 months, just do not agree, it is outrageous.
Agree with Mary Hatch Bailey, you will need an agent to rent.
