OK, I must....I must.....go do something other than sit here laughing at some of these posts and surfing internet for 'Dominatrix'......(I found some VERY interesting stuff, lol).....

Saturday morning here, another lovely day. I'm going to take some pics of the countryside round here and post them, it honestly looks so beautiful at the moment. Still, always does when the sun is shining, I guess.

Right, make a cup of tea, read paper, wash hair, do some writing, ignore ironing and housework, chase cat, eat lunch, more writing, mow lawn? ...nah....go to gym...nah....choose clothes for night out....go on night out....try not to grab mike and sing New York, New York (my speciality, kicks included)....reminder to self...no short skirts if you do.....eat tapas....drink wine....be stupid....go home wonder if you behaved ok.....go to bed, get up again, take alka seltzer....go sleep, and.......hey, it's Sunday.....

See, simpleton really, but a day in the life.....so, come on you lot.....in silly quips....what're you all planning for the next 24 hrs? (No personal stuff, we can imagine that!!)...

If that scratching pole and water bottle don't work, you could always take them to Companion Animal Surgery, at 10 Boon Teck Rd, off Balestier. They'll do them for $10...a very good price, and cheaper than a new settee. But if the cat, or dog, is uncooperative...$20 could be the charge. Give them a call...6255-7950.

Here in Singapore at the same clinic mentioned above, they'll declaw the cat...only on the front paws (of course) for the low, low price of only S$262.50, which includes full anesthesia, overnight hospitalization, and tax. In the UK...converts to 90 pounds. Might be worth it in the long run, and save the furniture, if you don't plan on releasing the animal back into the wild.

Thanks, Honey Girl, I would do that but live in the UK!! Cat de-clawing is not done here, or if it is, it's all hush-hush. Thanks anyway, I'm now trying Mary's method....the old squirty bottle with plain water in it....she seems to get the message and jumps a mile when I mist her with it....awww, poor thing, but she still jumps up for a cuddle now and again, so she can't hate me? (Can she?....Is she just waiting for revenge and will claw me to death when I'm snoozing on the settee? lol.)

I didn't know about that, but read on another site that a product called SoftPaws might be helpful to keep a cat from clawing on furniture...but again, must be cautious with the application. You may want to investigate that, too. ...hope the water bottle works...seems like it would, when you're home.
