Wathced the repeat on ABC Asia (Starhub Cable TV) this morning.

Very nice lah we gave the Kiwis a good seeing too.

BTW if your into your league (I am) you can usually get two full games over the weekend plus test matches an staet of origin games from subscribing to ABC Asia - Thats how I get my fix. (They also have a couple of AFL games on as well - One can only hope that they get a few one day cricket games in eventually, maybe they should start a an ABC Asia Sprots Channel)

The games are usually shown between 'live' synchronised swimming and lawn bowling.Apparently, they draw the same crowd

I think it is probably delayed but still OK.

If you ant to watch live go to a good Pub taht plays live games like Father Flannigans in Chimes. If your inetersted I would'nt mind coming and watchign the game as well.

Any Father Flannigan khakis know whether theya re showing teh State of Origin games live?

thanks for the links... i've been following the league games for 2 years (during my stay in brissy) :D I just came back last year and hoping to find a bar where people will gather during SOO... or at least for Game 1.. which is coming up in a couple of weeks.

thanks a bunch guys for the information on live league games ,but they came tad late though...thanks nevertheless

i ended up staying in front of my laptop clicking the reload button at nrl.com for the latest scoreline..lol....knew it was a goner for the kiwis when they are down 6-14 at half-time

will check out bungy bar or flannigans come friday and hopefully they are showing city Vs country origin...will be a good match since most on the fringe players for state of origin will give their all here....but as i see it, i am not expecting much from state of origin 2006;both teams plagued by injuries, suspension and players retiring from rep games....such pity

Ah, is it because you get your Kiwi butt kicked???

You see, I love Union simply because we get our buts kicked by the Kiwis . . . Umm, that was supposed to make sense.

Origin line-up are out. Maroons have chosen to go with youth and speed, while Blues sticking with familiarity and experience.

Imho, Maroons look really sharp with and should be able to wrest origin back this year. As usual, battle will be fought from the halves and Blues No.6 & 7 Anasta and Gower just doesn't match up to Lockyer and Thurston.

Hi Guys

Yep - The telecast on ABC Asia is live.

Unfortunately I am flying out to KL for the rest of the week on that day so I won't be around to join in the fun.

Next time for sure
