Help with video tape

I have a very important video tape that got chewed by the VCR. It's not broke just tangled and a bit mangled. Can I get it fixed and converted to DVD and if so where?

Can be done Em Eye, years ago one of ours got mashed, but we had it done by some techie guy my son knew, so sorry, you'll have to shop around. Try asking down Sim Lim, or wherever you shop for cameras, electricals etc.........by the way, you may lose some of it if it's too crunched up, but ours turned out ok.

If the tape contents are too important.., do go for an reputated shop and don't leave the tape behind.
