Nice area to live?

I've been looking at units to live in the Grange road, i.e., spring grove, grange place, etc. If I don't have a car, is it anything close in a walk distance? Malls, supermarket, basic stuff?

grange road.......good place.....for the wealthy people.......if you looked at the condos there.........fabulous........its close to the places like orchard shopping ctr......so so so close..........just a short bus travel.............to places like the far east plaza or DFS or orchard MRT...........quite close within walking distance if you don;t mind a short walk in singapore;'s hot humid weather...........

Thanks for the info... but What about the noise coming from Grange rd? is that only on pick hours or ....all day long?

It is a main road, so quite a bit of traffic. Having said that, the roads here do not cause so much trafficnoise I find. And often, when either living on a high floor unit or more than 50m away from the road itself, the noise is considerably less already.

Grange road is near to to most places, takashimaya shopping mall.... but u may need to take taxi or buses as it is right in town, exclusive but not so inconvenient....

Spring grove is a fabulous location. You can walk to Great World City, Wisma Atria, Tang's, etc... Lots of shopping options.
