I've been looking at units to live in the Grange road, i.e., spring grove, grange place, etc. If I don't have a car, is it anything close in a walk distance? Malls, supermarket, basic stuff?
Thanks for the info..new here, don't really know the area.
All comments.. good and bad are welcome!

grange road.......good place.....for the wealthy people.......if you looked at the
condos there.........fabulous........its close to the places like orchard shopping ctr......so so so close..........just a short bus travel.............to places like the far east plaza or DFS or orchard MRT...........quite close within walking distance if you don;t mind a short walk in singapore;'s hot humid weather...........

It is a main road, so quite a bit of traffic. Having said that, the roads here do not cause so much trafficnoise I find. And often, when either living on a high floor unit or more than 50m away from the road itself, the noise is considerably less already.

Spring grove is a fabulous location. You can walk to Great World City, Wisma Atria, Tang's, etc... Lots of shopping options.
