Need recommendation for thai restaurant

Post by Scorpion » Thu, 27 Apr 2006 9:22 am

Hi everyone, I got a dinner buffet to arrange in town area during next week, does anyone know of any real nice Thai restaurants in the town area??

I'm looking for a restaurant which satisfies these conditions well in taste and varieties with ambience surrounding, budget is not a constraint.

And of course, if there's any other recommendation, I'll greatly appreciate it.

Do please keep the suggestions coming, Cheers in advance!!

Than Ying at the Amara Hotel has the best Thai food. But not sure if it is buffet.:)

Hey Alfa!!!! :D

Long time no hear?

About thai restaurants:

Pattara at Raffles City, the best thai desserts in town, classy and not cheap, but excellent.

Bit more icasual, less pricy and excellent as well, The first Thai at Seah street, between Beach road and North Bridge road.

cheers Bk for the suggestion an thx for dropping in some comments during your tight work :D

EPL, Sukhothai is located near boat quay correct. I had been to Sukothai express @changi terminal2 during one of my client meetings, not sure if both are same. Food variety was good but not a sort of ambient place am looking for

Between any idea about the sabai, is't kind of ambient, cozy. Anybody been there.

Another thumbs-up for Sabai! A bit pricey compared to other Thai restaurants, but I was 100% satisfied with its interior decoration, ambience, excellent service and, of course, good food. I'm not sure it qualifies as "cozy" but it's not really a big restaurant.

Me too up for Sabai!! The majority of chefs, including the main, came from Thanying at Amara Hotel. The service is good too. Enjoy!! :)

The Thai restaurant that my friend use to frequent is called Tanying (Noble Lady). It serves a royal Thai cuisine - even the real Thai princess ate there. The dessert buffet is to die for.

They are at Amara Hotel in Tanjong Pagar and also at Boat Quay.

Another less prestigious establishment for fast Thai food is the Thai Express. I know there is one at Holland Village.
