I am a little familiar with chutney music as there's a huge immigrant Caribbean Indian population primarily in Toronto and they even have their own tv programme which airs this particular genre of music a couple of times a week. I'm referring to the Trinidadians and Guyanese (although geoghraphically Guyana is in S. America) in particular more so than the other Caribbean countries.
