hi, im new here :) its so great to hear abt ppl who got in, so envious >< i will become a FA one day!! sighs, hope i wont get turned down during e interviews or medical checkup. neway, if u do fail, when u apply again & go for e interview a 2nd time round, would u stand at a disadvantage? And when did u girls go for e interview, why are e training periods so different? alot of FAs in training; do they start fr batch01, if so there muz be ALOT of FAs?!?!

Making more than one application will make no difference, many of the cabin crew have tried more than once with some having as much as six or seven attempts before being successful.

When will be the confirmation on employment?

Post by ssszeee » Thu, 29 Jun 2006 3:11 pm

I am an oversea canidate, I had gone through all round interviews, after the body check, how long i have to wait for the contract call? Isn't that I have to wait the body result together with the successfulness of the working permit regislation?

Usually after body check, how long I have to wait? We have to go through another body check in singapore, so we will sign contract in singapore after going through the further body check or sign it in prior?

How 's the commencement of the training date? when will I know? I sincerely hope boardmates could solve me enquiries. I am looking forward for that.

After medical check up...

Post by Waiting to sign bond » Thu, 13 Jul 2006 1:10 pm

Hi all,

I went for my mediacal check up on the 10th of July 2006.

Any idea what is the appromimate waiting period b4 you're called down to sign the bond? And how do they contact you? (post/email/hp)

Also, How fast can we start training upon signing the bond?

Im eager to tender!!

And if i do so b4 the 17th (ie this week) i only need to give a week notice period. Otherwise got to give 1 mth notice :(

Thank you in advance! guys!

hi "waiting to sign bond"

since ure 99% confirm signning with SIA unless ure aware that u will fail ur medical checkup..why not jus tender ur current job now?

when was ur first interview?
ive known of batches where they started out in end june...and when called upon to sign bond was early sep.. and also for those who tried in july will start training in Oct...time span is roughly like that...abt 2-3mths...

u can roughly gauge from here?

hi dilemma_nic,

Thks for ur response!

Here's how my timing has been so far...

1. first interview, kebaya test & 2nd interview (1to2to1) - 1st July 2006

2. water confidence test & psychometric test - 5 July 2006.

3. final interview & tea party - 7 July 2006

4. medical test - 10 July 2006

From the above, wat do u think... should i tender now itself? Any chances that they will take more than 2 weeks to revert...
