My inbox was not full but the old messages have disappeared. is some clean up done every month.

can only see messages of this month.

bunty,

check the header on the right side and see if your mailbox it 100% full. If it is each new post you receive will bounce older messages off (the quantum would depend on the size of the messages being received or deleted).

I checked that it was not 100% full hence my query
