Where to Stay in Singapore

Post by pantman » Mon, 24 Apr 2006 2:21 am

I have a question for all the locals out there. I am planning a visit to Singapore and wanted to stay in the Clark Quay area. can someone recommend a good hotel with good food and a workout facility? Also are there some western style resturants in that area?

Hi Dave

I'm not local. Hope the following helps, am sure other forumers would recommend and share their experience with you..

Since you have picked Clarke Quay specifically for your impending trip to Singapore, well these are the hotels I would recommend.

1. http://www.robertsonquayhotel.com.sg/location.htm (cheapest rate)
2. http://www.galleryhotel.com.sg/ (my 2nd )
3. http://singapore-merchantcourt.swissotel.com/
4. http://www.accorhotels-asia.com/5993 (this is my 1st choice)

Picked by Singapore Tourism Board

EPL I did not thank you for the Hotel suggestions that you gave me. I looked on each of the hotels site and agree with your first choice. I am looking forward to visiting Singapore in September. :D
