MSN Blockchecker

I've got MSN blockchecker message coming up on my MSN screen. Do I have a virus? Does anyone else have this?

i do not think its a virus.

Have you tried doing a google search for "MSN blockchecker"? Try it. You'll learn something.

Basically, you have the blockchecker software installed, which tells you if someone is blocking you on MSN.

I think I understand what you meant... its more like when you click to have a conversation with someone... there's this first liner (asking you to download or use MSN blockchecker sort of thing) that appears in the conversation MSN screen.

It is most likely someone else had that before in their conversation window to you and you had clicked on that link. Once you clicked on it, it will remain and yes, it is sort of like a virus...

It was on my previous company's PC so we had it reformatted to get rid of it... :roll: Not too sure of what it was really...

Iz't a virus :( ,never faced anything like that :?

em eye, what'z the msn version are you using. try the 7.5v they surely have got some holes fixed up :wink:

I would suggest uninstalling MSN Messenger and then installing MSN Messenger 8.0
I dont think this is a virus, I think that you have clicked on a link and installed it by accident.....
MSN Block Checker is a tool that people use with MSN to check if one of their contacts are either Online, Offline or have Blocked you.

i think there might be a virus that comes with it. Cuz i rem my friend saying u hav to do something to the software before downloading or else there'll b virus.

That's only if you download software from illegal warez or crack sites. The thing you need to do to it is scan it with an antivirus program.
