BKK trip. Any Khakis?!

Post by milan » Thu, 20 Apr 2006 11:04 am

Im thinking of going to bangkok, yanhee hospital, dr sukit, on this coming 23rd or 24th May for PS. staying there for abt 6 to 7 nights.

at the moment, i cant find any one to go with me yet. if anyone is interested to join me. pls PM me!

im looking at the jet star air tics.. its going at S$35 one way.
its really cheap.

Found some hotel rooms in the central area and
they cost about S$30-S$35 per room per night including breakfast in the morning.. if there're ppl sharing. its like $10plus per night only.

if anyone is interested , pls pm me fast. coz i think there's a limit to those cheap air tics...need to book early...

Considering the weather in Bangkok. clothing in light colors are a good idea.

Sorry. Isn't it risky to go bkk for a nose job?

ppl often have this kind of perception. but then again.. u think abt it in this way. in SG, it is expensive and the no. of surgery done by one singapore surgeon is maybe 1/3 of what a thai surgeon does in a month. and with that, the amt of experience is much much more. their encounter and ability to handle situation wil be much better. in bkk, it is so commen to do nose job or eye job.. that to the doc, its a no-sweat small op only. with that u dont have to worry about the doc not being v experienced, (eg.will cut the wrong area and not sew the stitch properly.)just eg only. =)

on top of that this doc that i choose is actually from reputable hospital
u can check it out. www.yanhee.net
even the thai call this the "5 class hospital"

What is rated 5(star) in thailand may not be the same elsewhere.

The reason people head to Bangkok is because it is a considerably cheaper alternative however it does not mean it is better. The surgeons may have more experience by virtue of bulk but the warranty is not the same.

In your case, going to Dr.Sukit is a good decision. Apart from Preecha and him, there are only a few others in Bangkok who are reliable.

I am sure you'll be happy with your result/s but just remember to take care and heed the surgeon's post-op advise.

wouldn't mind gpoing with you to Bangkok but i need to check the dates 1st. are your dates fixed or flexible t change? i wanted to do lasik eye surgery and laser skin resurfacing.wanted to do laser tattoo removal but sinc ei can use my medisave on it here, i might as well do it here? i wouldn't mind a consultation with Dr. Sukit for liposuction anyway. i know it's a dangerous procedure so canted to make sure. let me know if your dates are fixed and i'll check mine.

Heya singal...

in regards to the laser tattoo removal, do be wary of the place where you want to get it done k?

PM me if you have trouble with this.

Hi gals,

thanks for the contact. i've emailed Dr. Sukit. will see what he says.

by the way, how long are you gals going to stay there for? i'm considering a few procedures, i'm looking at laser resurfacing for skin, liposuction, tatto removal. so might need more time. would be nice to go with you gals, we can look out for each other. for liposuction, i read the other forum which suggest another procedure called laser lipo and the user seems to have very good result but they do it here. i want to combine all the procedures to minimise the downtime. what do you gals think?
