Quennie..... I was told the next intake is prob in Aug or Sept. Would appreciate if you can find out for me. So dissapointed you know.....
Really want to go back flying. Miss it badly.
You really can't resign? You could probably tell them that this is something you really want to do and they should understand.

Do you have any vacation days/ annual leave to off-set? Then you may not need to serve the full month's notice. But, of course, that depends on your current company's policy - do they allow such off-sets?

I can't just resign.....
I've talked to my boss. She said she can't release me early cos she will not be able to find a replacement in such a short notice. I have only 3 days to off set. Sigh.......

Mel Jan, if it is that important to you then bite the bullet and tender your resignation.
Were the shoe on the other foot, so to speak, would they give you one month to get ready to leave if they were to sack you, or ask you straight away?

Leave, girl and catch that bus!

I agree. You've got your place on a carrier. An opportunity! If you have to wait til August, which is 4 months away, I don't think you'd have the heart to work at your current place. Your quality of work won't be as good as before coz your heart don't belong there anymore. You're as if being forced to be there and it's like torture for you.

Yap.. that is what i will do too.. Leave the company. It's not easy to find a job that you have passion in. Most people work for the sake of working. So... this is your chance.. Go ahead with it. I totally agree with Vaucluse, if it's the other way round, they wouldn't be so nice to you as to give you a month notice.

Wow so good of that interviewer. Somemore you are the youngest one in Emirates. Correct? So have you start your training yet or already been flying? But you just join Tigerair a while only right.
Yup, after I got selected thou. I got a diploma cert. Well.. tell u the truth, doesn't mean I got a place it totally doesn't mean I am secured with Emirates. I do too have to do my best during the interviewing rounds. If I go, not in my best then definitely, they won't pick me. It's all up to me and them. ;)

She told me that QR once told her to go for this Career Seminar blahblah....for like 8 hours+!For QR sake, she went for it! I don't know mayb because of her attending this seminar she got in. But the thing is that she got this X-Factor to become a Flight Attendant! Here is her pic with QR uniform...Uniform kind of like cleaner-looking one without the jacket one.

For EK..she told me that males are to difficult to got in! They are concentrating more on girls. It applies the same to QR 2.She told me that in her group, only 2 males got in.Sounds pathetic.

I like the uniform when the stewardesses where the jacket. They look more professional and pretty.

Definitely. She told me that she was threatened by this hooligan who knocked on her door. That hooligan asked her to pay up $US25 if not she'll get molested.Well, its obvious he knocked on her door bcause the apartment that she's staying are all Qatar Airways Flight Attendants.

Once, she got a flight to Nairobi,Kenya. After reaching, she with a group of Flight Attendants board a bus to the airport.Along the way, around 5-6 men stopped the bus. They threatened to raped all the girls in the bus if that do not pay up.Sounds scary. So girls, watch out!Learn some karate moves!
