Do you have a basic skills apart from 'powdering of the nose' ? You have to be apt with colors and lightings as well. There are plenty of make up courses out there so it won't be too hard for you to locate one.
You could contact the funeral parlours directly and inquire. Again, it's quite a big spectrum from the mom&pop set-ups to the more estbalished ones.
Give it a go...
