Not that you're counting of course!!!
I might be a good La Di Da and have diet cokes tonight, those wines may have been tiny on Wed pm but I still managed to go to Insomnia afterwards and then suffer with a hangover from hell y'day :???:

Hmmm, certainly felt old yesterday.......and I never need much persuasion to party, it's just that I could do without having to get up for work the next day !!

Still, it's Friday and the start of another weekend so who knows where tonight will end \:D/

Hi

Not been to one of these FNDC personally ... but have been to one or two of these gatherings organised from this forum in the past - please don't take offence, but was just wondering why there are so many singaporean girls at what is an expat board? Are they all SPGs? .... hmmm. Just curious to understand their motives/agenda? This is after all an expat forum .... wonder why they are hanging around here ?

DD

I do agree with Dinki Di on this point. You have to question why Singaporeans are hanging out on this expat forum. Havent they made any friends at school or college? Any functions I've attended have been mainly made up of Singaporean girls with some expats thrown in. I'd find it weird hanging out at an expats forum in England being from there and I imagine so would alot of the expats.

Theres no harm in it though and mixing with the locals should be encouraged.

I am thinking of getting hitched to a foreigner first, then come back on this Singapore Expats Forum as the spouse of an expat... would that fit better? :P

Maybe if this forum name was more inclined towards a Masquerade Party... it might be better fitting

I guess you're the exception to the rule Jolmar, the other 59,999,999 French will stick to their 60 days or more annual leave...

I remember working with my French clients in Grenoble, Hewlett Packard. Every time I needed to see them, they were on holidays. One of them had a second home in Tahiti (HP is not a bad employer it seems...) and went there every summer for 6 to 8 weeks. And then additional skiing long weekends in the Alps, 1 week her, 1 week there, but hardly in the office. And then of course going on strike, as they were asked to cut down on the amount of days leave... :???:

Applaude for your working morals!
