Going out....can't decide what to wear...!!

Post by Bubbles » Sun, 16 Apr 2006 2:47 am

Right, just a silly post....am off out down the pub soon, and can't decide whether to wear pencil skirt (all the rage) or jeans and white shirt. Sense says jeans and shirt, madness says the other.

Am caught in a quandary about whether it's 'correct' for a woman of a 'certain' age..not 100 but not 25.... to wear really fashionable clothes....not talking mini's here....

Then I think, 'Sod it, will wear what I want'....then next min think....'Arrgh, they'll think I'm sad'.....

See, you guys, no probs like this for the male population, is there?

Sigh.....

Yes, I hear the shouts of 'Airhead' from here....... :D :D

Hope you went with the skirt. Who cares what they say? They are probably drunk anyway. My dad used to say "she's living out her fantasty" when he saw someone wearing something interesting. Do what makes you feel good and in turn you will make the people around you feel good.

Was a wuss and wore the jeans, but will wear the skirt tonight, and they can like it or lump it.

Like the thought...'She's living out her fantasies'.....crumbs, what's mine then?

Perhaps I'm trying to shake my tomboy psyche.??

Regardless of the age, the number 1 important thing is the cool confidence and nice personality. And you have that Bubbs.
Even with jeans or skirt you can grace the floor and have all eyes on you..

You go girl!!

Bubbs, if a pencil skirt is what I would describe as closely fitted skirt and quite flattering to the body and if one can carry it off, there would be no question in my mind about wearing it.
