Anyone has any idea how I can save a SWF file?

I say to use this one, as if you opena SWF directly in the browser [ie. no container page enclosing it] you wont be able to right-click and select Page Info from that menu, but selecting Page Info from the Tools menu at top always works...
Yooo, as explained by bremen intially has its advantage of using it. :)

But a 3rd party free-ware or share-ware tool, can reduce all the amount of work @ one shot. :D

i used to use 3rd party programs, well, i still do [star downloader] but i find that not one program will suffice for all occasions.
Since i use Firefox most of the time, i use an extension plug-in called Down Them All.
This basically grabs all the links, movies, images etc that are visible in the page.

I still find Page Info useful though, as it picks up other stuff thats not immediately available to the other 3rd party programs or plug-ins.

i gave up on the one-stop-shop idea a while back, it doent always work, so its useful to have alternatives around.

Download manager 'z are normally meant for this purpose that can capture the entire webpage contents and replicate at ur desktop for offline use.

Some times, i do specify how many child windows are to be downloaded also :) . These software are mostly avail'b as trial-ware.

I did actually pay for one, years ago [mid 90's]. It was one of the first ones I think, i forget the name now, but it, as you say, allowed you to specify how far down along the children you wanted to go. You could end up copying an entire site, and it would work correctly with all local links.
It was pretty good back then...
