thinking of malasiya/indonesia somewhere nearby ???

If you have a bit of cash fly from Seletar to Tioman - really beutiful place.

THANX BG, Yup the place looks to be very peaceful from the buzzling sin'g city.

Funds aren't problem, but haven't been there.

can give some more information about flying from seletar !!

The beach wasn't that fantastic in Tioman when i was there. I would recommend Perhentian Island (by train or fly from JB to Kota Bahru).Though the journey is a bit too long to get there, it's worth going if you have more days to spend.Beautiful white soft sand beach,nice seafood,clear waters,diving(as the corals are not spoilt as in Redang),snorkelling,turtle watching,rest and relax on the beach at night sitting on the sand having cocktail and you can also do island hopping to nearby islands
( Redang etc). I would love to go back again one day..

Or you can fly direct to Redang island.

But it is a peak season now on both island.

Would like to give you more info on travelling from seletar but I think a friend sorted out all the details - just ask a travel agent i guess, sorry i couldn't be more helpful
