MOM - VERY EFFICIENT!!!
MOM - VERY EFFICIENT!!!
My company submitted my EP application on March 27, 2006.
My company received the acknowledgement from MOM on March 29, 2006.
My company received the in-principle approval letter from MOM on April 4, 2006.
Surprisingly efficient!!!!
However, it's also surpised that I was granted a Q1 pass instead of P2 pass. My monthly salary is S$4,500.

The pass status doesn't always goes with only the salary criteria. It does depends upon the current post, previous experience, education etc..Tuenyi wrote:....

Re: MOM - VERY EFFICIENT!!!
"Paralegals" don't need degrees, hence the Q1 methinks. Although it is possible to take a degree - most commonly an associates degree gained from a community college. Some employers train paralegals on the job, other entrants have experience in a technical field that is useful to law firms, such as a background in tax preparation. A paralegal (AKA 'legal assistant' or 'legal secretary') is explicitly prohibited from carrying out duties that are considered to be the practice of law, such as setting legal fees, giving legal advice, and presenting cases in court.fx8fx wrote:very interesting news about $4500 >>> Q1Tuenyi wrote:OIC. The most incomprehensible thing about the world is that it is at all comprehensible.
