With my pending arrival to Singapore rapidly approaching, I'd like to know if access to Newsgroups are available and unrestricted in Singapore. Thanks in advance for any info.

It's 100 sites that were banned originally. That list stayed static for about 5 years. about 3 years ago I think they updated the list (again total is around +/- 100 sites). It's just a token thing as it's too easy to change your url. No worries, people look for the sites. The url can be www.bob's your uncle for that matter.
