Can a mature student with no degree study in Singapore?

My partner and I are leaving the UK to come to Singapore in August. I am a teacher and will be working full time. My partner works in financial services at the moment but has decided he would like to go to University to study Media.

Can anyone tell me if this would be possible? In the UK, he would be given a place as a mature student. Is it harder to do this in Singapore?

Hello,

There is a new university in Singapore called Singapore Institute of Management. The majority of their students are working adults and I think your husband will definitely qualify.

It is SIM, dont confuse it with SMU.

Hey CP

My other half has just received a job offer from a company which will see us relocating from Scotland to Singapore in the next couple of months.

From what I have read on this forum it appears that I will not be allowed to work (I'm just un the process of selling my business so I will be financially stable). I don't think I could get my head 'round doing nothing and had thought that this may be an opportunity to study to change careers. Please let me know how you are getting on and we can compare notes.
