EK

Post by WING » Tue, 03 Jun 2008 2:15 pm

its weird that little has been mentioned abt the 2nd and final round of the EK interview. Whatever happened to those people who are always giving 'advices' abt 1st round and saying that they are just being helping to give some tips along the way and now that they got into EK, suddenly they are not willing to share any information anymore??? It can't be that they have all signed a contract that prohibit them to reveal anything about the interview??

so can any other kind soul here share some information regarding the 2nd and 3rd round of interview?

hmmmm, actually i did manage to find info on the subsequent rounds.. and that is after scouring through the ENTIRE thread.

it helps to have music and coffee in hand.. it's actually quite a good and informative read if you can go through the whole thread. you'll prolly find a good amount of advice/info like i did. :)

after all, it was these fellow helpful forum peeps that help make up my mind to go try at the next assessment day.

:D

what makes you think i did not read thru the whole thread? there is only like one reply regarding the 2nd and 3rd round interviews and that reply was posted in oct 2006!

i would rather hear from those who were selected recently. 2006 could be too outdated. i do not know because things change.

What exactly do you wish to read or in fact to hear?
For your info, I went twice for Emirates interview and the last time I went is the SAME! They did not add-in or have an other extra things during the interview. That means that the OCT 2006 THREAD IS NOT OUTDATED. If it is, someone would have POST THE UPDATED ONES.

If you would like to know futher I would rather you go for the interview and find out yourself. - THAT'S WHAT I DID. I did not asked anyone what is it like, whats the process is, what did the interviewer said.. blah..blah..
Not everyone has the same questions.

I can just simply tell you that the FINAL INTERVIEW ARE BASED ON YOUR PSYHOMETRIC ASSESSMENTS. - So, NOT EVERYONE HAS THE SAME QUESTIONS.

i am just saying. of coz i wouldn't know what you do or don't do.
was merely judging based on what you wrote coz if you did what i did, then you would have answers. :)

also, another very helpful forum is Pprune. Tonnes of qns and answers there... that one will take more than 1 cuppa.

Perhaps if you woke up from your deep slumber and read the advertisements along with planning your application you might actually surprise yourself!

I'm assuming you have only read through this thread. Try other threads as well. Surprisingly, you can find some info in the 'SIA cabin crew' thread as well. And why are you worried so much about what is going to happen?I went through the whole interview not knowing what will happen next and the unknown brought out the best in me coz I wasn't being over confident. Knowing what will happen next will somehow bring over confidence coz you're trying hard, in fact too hard to prepare for that round.

I totally agree. I went knowing a little and keep the rest to my own surprise. A little surprise will keep you going.

Hello! I am a newbie here. A friend and I will be going to the assessment day on July 12. My questions are:

Will there be an assessment prior to this day (SASS Atlantic's assessment)? If yes, when will the deadline be?

Are they strict on the color of your clothing? (do they prefer black suit?)

Can anyone suggest on the best photo studio that is affordable?
