Hey peeps, I have been a "silent" forum reader for awhile and I scoured through almost ALL the long threads to get info, so thank you to all who shared their knowledge and experiences.. it really is very helpful.

Anyone have any idea of their next open days?
After reading the threads Ive decided to try out Emirates so I called up the agent office. The next interview will be in Jun/Jul. :) Looking forward to it!

Hi momopeach,

Thank you for the wishes.
Don't be too dissappointed. In fact, I don't even know what they are looking for. I was just being myself and being who I know the best [ME!].
7 times is not alot of times. I have met someone who tried 13 times before she was successful. I think basically, you have to show your will of wanting this job. I showed how passionate and how willing I am to get this job in any circumstances.

Basically, doesn't mean you're an ex crew, they will take you in.
There are some people who are from SQ and MI but still didn't make it.
I tried twice for emirates before I was successful.

Remember: NEVER GIVE UP. Face the facts and learn how to amend it.

Wow you'll be leaving Singapore before National Day. Haha! I've applied leave on that day just so I can feel the National Day spirit. Nevertheless, welcome to the Emirates family.

And to those who have gone for final interview and still have not gotten any result, SMILE. There's a positive outcome. The rejection usually goes out 2 weeks after the final interview. No more than that.

Well that's because there is no upcoming recruitment fo the moment. Nobody knows until it's out on the respective airlines' websites and papers. This have been mentioned many times in different threads. Newbies in this forum like you should start reading most of the threads. I know it's a lot. I've done it before and I'm now in my second airline. If I could do it, there's no reason you can't.
