I've seen Cathay crew that are HUGE... she took up 3/4 of the 2-crew jumpseat by herself, so I guess some airlines wouldn't mind as long as you look well groomed and carry yourself well?

She however may have been with the airline several years and gained weight in excess of what they require of a newbie. Seems you haven't some of the BA crews and SIA males that have been employed for X number of years.

I strongly believe that you should go for the experience.
But again, waste of time.
You have to be 21, or if you are going to be 21 [at least 6 months before your birth date]

Thank you for your advise!

Yes, home-base is always the best choice.
Its your home ground. Whatever happened,at anytime u need your family, they are just ard the corner.

But, in life... sometimes other issues comes in like for me for example- i am in no position to sit here and wait... for some personal reasons.
And being a cabin crew and living in other country are not new to me.
Home sick is a huge issue which I intent to share earlier here.

Rdgs.
I personally think it's your own opinion on regards about home sick.
But here's my opinion on home sick: I have my own sister, and including myself being alone for years [before] in other country. We do have home sick. BUT IT'S NOT EVEN A HUGE ISSUE FOR US. Cause we always believe that making this choice is our decision and by making this choice we are setting a brighter future for ourselves.

I have always believe that it's all in the mind.
I believe rinnuwatanabe could explain further on regards to this mind thingy.

And I am kind of confused.
You said earlier [before this post] that you cant give your life as a cabin crew yet, after that you said being a cabin crew and living in other country are not new to you.
So which is which?
You flew before, including living in other country and now you want to be a cabin crew in overseas based airline, then you are afraid of home sick?

I'm confused! :???:
Yar ladyrain, 1st u said A then B... If you really keen in it try hard and forcus, like queenie said it's true i totally agreed wif her words, well the decision is yours, u decided wat u really want in life, is this career suits u or jus waanabe only, if yes make up ur mind be firm and y muz you afraid to face it thru then... :???: actions is more better then word lor
