Hi I was rejected during the Aug/Sep recruitment. Would it be alright if I go for the November recruitment even though they said that we should not apply within the next 6 months? Would they be really strict about this?

Not pretty sure this time ard they are looking for guys or not
good day,

do you think they still hire or even invite male applicants?

i'm new in this forum... i would like to ask if there is any agecny in singapore where i can apply for emirates? or i should just fill up the online form? or i can just walk in the assestment day?

thank you very much and have a great day

actually i'm not from singapore i'm from the philippines and i'm planning to go to Singapore if there will be a assestment day because the agency here in the philsippines is so strict and i think it is very hard for a male applicant to be even invited for an assestment
my dream will come true someday!!!

Just send in your application online.. If it is a walk-in, though u never got invited..you could still walk in as usual to try....

Emirates has alwiz been strict on their recruitment...actually not only emirates ..other airliners as well....

Since their priorities is more towards female candidates....we'll just have to wait and see whether they would advertise in newspaper stating for both male and female.....

Hi Rayne,

they are v.strict for every aspect of their recruitment. If you plan to try again, yo have to wait 6 months grace b4 you can try again cause they have a record of you and for those who manage to go tru the final round and got eliminated, they haf to wait longer. They can only apply after 1yr.

My friend who's 19 this year went for the last recruitment for experience sake. She was sent home and the interviewer said it's ok to apply 3 months before birthday.

Hi Flawa, thanks for your reply. I guess its better to be patient then to have myself "marked" forever! haha... Gosh I really want this, if I get rejected time and again, after how many years would I have to wait.. haha

Hi Darlings,

Below is what I have received through email yesterday. I had previously applied 3 months back. I am turning 21 in 5 months time. :D
---------------------------------------------------------------------

As part of our ongoing recruitment process to select Cabin Crew for our expanding fleet we regularly review applications of candidates who previously did not meet our minimum age criteria at the time of first application.

We require candidates to be 21 years of age on joining our Airline, therefore if you are now 21 or approaching 21 in the next 1-6 months and you still have a continued interest in becoming one of our award winning Cabin Crew members, we would encourage you to update your application.
We look forward to receiving your updated On-line Application so we can consider you once again for Cabin Crew.

Best regards,

Cabin Crew Recruitment

I dont think Emirates is employing any male cabin crew at the moment...

Next week the recruitment is held in Melaka and KL.....Malaysia....only female cabin crew can attend the walk in as i saw it on the newspaper...

I guess in sg oso the same.....

It's strictly FEMALES only for Emirates recruitment days Singapore, Malaysia - Philippines is an exception to the rule, however the local recruiter is bound by their labour laws to allow only Filipino nationals in the recruitment process and trust me, the Filipino candidates are really hospitality oriented and that's why Middle Eastern airlines recruit extensively there.

Every recruitment season, we will have candidates who do not read the ad - i.e wrong gender/wrong age requirement, language proficiency and pop by the interview hoping they would be selected. You are generally wasting your time and annoying the recruitment staff who'll have to naturally be polite and take your CV (to the shredder) :o
