I'm still a beginner. I thought I was getting good until I played the guys last Tuesday (11th) and got my butt kicked.

Yeah, the tuesday group comprises mainly of pretty good squashers. I was once invited by one guy to join them every tuesday but I did not...lol would have had my butt kicked too if i did..lol. Anyway beginners like you should start with someone who can guide you through the basic forehand & backhand strokes for at least 30mins each session then followed by playing a full 3 sets game. Do that twice a week for the next 3 months and I am sure you'll be able to take at least a set from one of the guys on Tuesdays group.

Any chance of my joining for a good Tuesday session. I am not beginner but not that good either. I can survive 2 games and 3 rd game I will crawl.
