looooong time ago, i took an excel class at altron school of computing. it's good. do a google search and you'd be able to find the tel and address.

i think the classes just gives you a headstart. if you are really interested in learning excel, i highly recommend you to a buy "Excel Bible" written by John Walkenbach. he has seen me through tough times. if you would like to explore further, "Excel VBA" will be another good read. the books by john walkenbach are simple to understand, and there's a cd with the book.

Microsoft Office is very easy to learn. It's not worthed it to attend a class on this. Library offers alot of books on this. It's cheaper and there's time flexibility.

Basic word usage appears to be easy.

If you ought to prepare document's with complex format and usage of macros, its better to take a short and fast course.
