Weightloss - Cohen Lifestyle Clinique

Post by tunafish » Sun, 02 Apr 2006 10:22 pm

I couldn't find my previous topic on Cohen Lifestyle Clinique so I guess I'd just start another one.

An update - I started on the Cohen program on 19 Feb 2006. It's been around 5 weeks, and I have lost 11kg to date. It's amazing! The consultants at Cohen's target a weightloss of 1.5kg per week, and I have to complete the program within a year (contract period).

Pros and Cons:

Pros
- Rapid Weightloss (11 kg in 5 weeks)
- No Irritable Bowel Syndrome
- More energy, better skin, etc

Cons
- Weigh the EXACT amount of veges, meat, yoghurt (very precise)
- Not a wide a range of food - no pork, salmon, duck, etc
- Once you "break" for a meal, weightloss slows down by 1 week (most upsetting for me).

It's a very strict program but I can certainly see the changes. However, I do not think I can abide 100% when I am stressed.

Work is very stressful but I definitely cope well. However, I will taking my CFA L2 in June, and whenever I study, I have immense craving for crisps/fried stuff. It's killing me. It's a Sunday today, and I feel I dragged myself through the weekend (intense studying).

Anyone on the program would like to share their experiences? I know 2 girls who are on it, and we kept in contact via email. Anyone else?

Hi ironlady,

No. It's the contrary. You must have all three meals. Restrictions - you must weigh exactly the quantity of food that they allow you.

You won't feel hungry because the portion's substantial. However, you are encouraged to use little oil in your cooking.

For me, the program cost around 900 SGD. Think there's a website you can go to. The consultants are very friendly. I don't want to seem like I am advertising for them. Do a search in Google for Cohen Lifestyle Singapore and you will be able to find the website.
