You said that you been to Vietnam and Thailand. Is that true?
Because according to Singapore Girl, she says that budget airlines like yours only do turnaround flights.
Or is it that Singapore Girl is giving wrong info again?
Thanks.
Why would I give wrong information? I was just posting information which were copies of past posts of other people's. It's been repeated alot of times by many different people that LCCs only do turnaround flights. Maybe you are THAT new that you haven't read all the pages yet. Like I've said MANY MANY times, I apologise if some of the information I post are misleading but I post based on facts and research. Through time, things will definitely change within the airlines, but not alot. That's why I only post information based on my research. Someone will definitely post a newer information over mine. Isn't "sharing" what this forum's all about?

Sorry. Queenie. Dont mind that i have a lot of questions to ask you. Then how often do you get to fly? Is there any layover or turnover? You are taking your own transport to go to work right? Thank you very much for clearing my questions!

Being a FA is quite tiring. Thats what being a FA is. But since you have enjoy it yourself, that is worth it.

SINGAPORE GRRL not given any FALSE information. It's true we do turn around. But it's more tiring and more work to do. Not easy.

How often I fly is I don't know. Seriously.. maybe everyday but of course you got off days and rest days. Yes of course I take my own transport. I am not lucky enough to get the company bus to fetch me
.
Well.. as for staying over, it totally depends on the aircraft. If there's something wrong with the aircraft, yes we have to overnight at the spot. If not, we come back....

Hi Queenie..
Just curious, may i know what airline you are in? I think i missed out some conversation in the forum. Couldn't find back. Saw in this page that you are doing turnaround flights, so just wondering which airline you are in? Cos i know turnaround flights are more tiring than single trips or sometimes long flights. This is because you have to finish your duties within that short time and yet after landing, have to quickly prepare for return trip. You were saying that you fly almost everyday? Around how many off days do you get in a month? Sorry for asking so much.. Thanks ya..

I'm currently with Tiger.
AND YES, more tiring then SQ stewardess.
Off days per month, I am not too sure.

You are employed as an FA with Tiger and YOU DON'T KNOW how many off days you have per month? Please, please god, don't make me fly with this one. She might not remember how open the door.

I didn't say I don't know...I say I am not too sure.
Every month we got different off days. And I am not the sort to count how many off days I have. If I have to work then I work if not I stay at home on my off days. And I do remember how to open the door. I just don't get you. Why are you so... blunt!

As budget airline FA are paid very low, i think even during off days, they work so they can get extra money. What a pity.

sorry matt10. we are not paid that low. the pay is enough for me to get going for two moneys. and seriously, i don't have to work extra day to get extra money. well, even if i work extra days, i wouldn't mind at all. the more i work the more money i get [you're just as dumb!] i just work whenever i have to or my schedule stated.. if not, staying at home and rest sounds more like fun.
and i don't have to work during off day. not as budget as u think it is. and so what our pay is lower then SQ. At least, we get paid!
