XBOX360
I have a couple of questions:
I was reading that XBOX360 was recently released in Singapore, is it sold out as it has happened all over the places where it has been launched?
Do you know if in Singapore you can get the US titles mainly of EA Sports such as Madden, NBA, Baseball, etc.?
Thanks

Guess as the prices are getting down, 600sgd below would make a good deal.

Am thinking of getting one.. is it difficult to set up?
Does it comes with all the necessary cables or do you have to get them seperately?

Its just a console box, plug it in the av/power cables. then connect the controllers put in the game.. u r now ready to unleash the power of gaming now

It's just a console box, like all console boxes before it...Xpat wrote:Hi all,

Note however, that:
1. You can only really get the benefits of an XBox360/PS3/Nintendo revolution if you have a high-definition television
2. The XBox360 uses a lot of power, and the power adaptor has been known to get very hot to the point of hanging the console.

Bremen, the problem was in the intial sets (xbox core). Guess new sets dn't have the same kind of problem, was playing for about 4hours on the console with an LCD set absolutely no problem.

I actually think it's the stricter guidelines for electrical appliances in Singapore. My guess is the US customers got the cheaper parts.Scorpion wrote: Bremen, the problem was in the intial sets (xbox core). I'd honestly wait for the price to go down and the revision of the 360 to come out before getting one. They're still improving the manufacturing process and a die shrink to 65nm is planned. This would reduce the heat output and power consumption.

Re: xbox... it goes on and on and on
It's not MS's call. It's IBM and Chartered Semi right here in SG. They want to make the shrink to 65nm to improve yields and profits. Remember, the Power5 is not just used in the XBox360.Scorpion wrote: Yoo yoo, we all know better about microsoft.
