Compensation

Post by crabathor » Tue, 28 Mar 2006 12:29 pm

What is the compensation package is structured like here in Singapore?
I know it depends on the industry but I just want to have a general picture.
For example in Japan I heard it's common to have 4 months salary as the annual bonus in almost every industry, then there are benefits such as health insurance, housing allowance, etc.
In Indonesia, at least I heard it's quite common to have at least 2-3 months salary as the annual bonus, but one shouldn't expect much on getting benefits.
Would appreciate any info on this very much. Thanks.

Depends on the industry but the common is always the 13 months, which is 1 month bonus. Which sectior would you be referring to?
